Odaily Planet Daily reported that during the Taipei Blockchain Week held in Taiwan, Sun Yuchen, founder of TRON and a member of the Huobi HTX Global Advisory Committee, delivered a video speech. He stated that PayFi represents a new financial market construction model, creating financial primitives and product experiences around the time value of money. PayFi aims to establish a programmable currency system, providing users with economic sovereignty and self-custody capabilities. He pointed out that through innovative scenarios such as interest generation from staking for consumption, PayFi can effectively address some pain points faced by practitioners in the Web 3 industry, such as the issue of broken cash flows.

Taipei Blockchain Week took place from December 12 to 14 in Taiwan, with the theme "Onboard." The event featured three stages, over 200 speakers, and more than 60 sponsors and partners, committed to advancing the adoption and innovation of Web3.
