This remark drew dissatisfaction from Jesse Pollak, head of the Base protocol, who believes that comparisons between Solana and L1 should no longer occur, and that only unity within the Ethereum ecosystem can make it stronger. Garga.eth clarified that he has great respect for Base's work and previously expressed discontent towards podcast hosts who criticized NFT projects and meme coins.
