The Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Association (AIHK) has been officially established, aiming to promote the innovative development of local artificial intelligence. The association focuses on four key strategies: policy and governance, ecosystem and community, collaboration and partnerships, and knowledge and education. By connecting and representing AI solution developers, investors, users, and leaders, it seeks to create an environment that supports innovation, collaboration, and diversity, while promoting the development of a decentralized internet and virtual asset economy. The founding members mainly come from institutions such as AXA Hong Kong and Macau, Cathay Pacific Airways, Chow Sang Sang, DBS Bank, Li & Fung, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Standard Chartered Bank. They will work with policymakers to provide expert advice, assist in policy formulation, and advocate for a sound corporate governance framework that promotes the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence across various industries.
