PANews, October 31 - According to official news, Dr. Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, delivered a keynote speech titled "On-Chain" and "In-Chain" at SmartCon 2024 today. He stated that traditional and crypto financial markets will achieve interconnectivity through stablecoins (fiat tokenization of Payfi), ETFs (off-chain securitization of crypto assets), RWA (on-chain tokenization of traditional assets), and STO (tokenization of on-chain Web3 businesses), all facilitated by licensed and compliant institutions (on-chain deposit, loan, and exchange transactions).  

Dr. Xiao emphasized that "On-Chain" is primarily realized through three methods: Web2 (data on-chain), DePIN (device on-chain), and DeFi (asset on-chain). Going on-chain is a path for users to embrace broader value rather than an end goal. The recently launched Ethereum Layer 2 public chain, HashKey Chain, aims to build a compliance-friendly ecosystem that encourages innovation, allowing traditional finance and Web3 users to share the infinite possibilities and values brought by blockchain technology and applications.
