Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, delivered a speech at the 2024 Hong Kong SmartCon conference hosted by Chainlink, predicting that the blockchain industry will achieve interoperability through five major channels by 2025. These five channels include stablecoins, ETFs, RWAs, STOs, and licensed institutions. Xiao Feng also introduced three ways of on-chain integration and the two layers of value of DLT.

Odaily Planet Daily News reports that at the 2024 Hong Kong SmartCon conference hosted by Chainlink, HashKey Group Chairman and CEO Xiao Feng delivered a speech titled "'On-chain' and 'In-chain'". He predicts that by 2025, the blockchain industry will achieve interoperability through five major channels: stablecoins (expected trading volume of 6 trillion), ETFs (the off-chain securitization of digital assets), RWA (the tokenization of traditional assets on-chain), STO (the tokenization of on-chain Web3 businesses), and licensed institutions (on-chain deposit and loan exchange). 

"On-chain" mainly occurs through three methods: Web2 (data on-chain), DePIN (devices on-chain), and DeFi (assets on-chain). The ultimate goal of going on-chain is tokenization.

DLT has two layers of value: tools (business models remain unchanged, improving marginal effects) and mechanisms (innovative business models that create new assets).
