According to Wu, Arbitrum community member Joseph Schiarizzi (@CupoJoseph) has released a governance proposal suggesting the return of 220 million ARB from the GCP (Game Catalyst Program) multi-signature wallet to the Arbitrum DAO treasury, leaving only 3.65 million ARB for GCP to continue operations. The proposal points out that the GCP council has not fulfilled its responsibilities, delaying several oversight and transparency commitments made in the original proposal. Previously, the Arbitrum DAO authorized the allocation of 225 million ARB for GCP. Schiarizzi stated that his proposal may not pass, but its purpose is to introduce a certain accountability mechanism for the 120 million USD worth of ARB tokens supporting GCP.
