According to Wu Shuo, Khosla Ventures has raised a $405 million Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to invest in OpenAI's $6.60 billion funding round, as reported by The Information. Sources revealed that the SPV will consist of funds from Khosla Ventures and external investors. Venture capitalists typically support startups, but they also aggregate funds through SPVs to participate in later funding rounds. Previous projects that Khosla Ventures has invested in include: NEAR ecosystem blockchain infrastructure company Calimero Network, Worldcoin, investment application Seashell, Chain (XCN), and others.
