Former FTX Digital Markets co-CEO Ryan Salame is set to report to a federal correctional facility on October 11 to serve a sentence of 7.5 years. Salame stated on social media that prison will be an "exciting" experience and that he will treat his time in prison like a summer camp. In September 2023, Salame pleaded guilty to conspiring to make illegal political donations and deceiving the Federal Election Commission. He is the second FTX executive facing imprisonment, with two other executives, Nishad Singh and Gary Wang, scheduled for sentencing on October 30 and November 20, respectively.
