AI infrastructure company PIN AI has completed a $10 million Pre-Seed funding round, with participation from a16z CSX and others.

News from TechFlow: AI infrastructure company PIN AI has announced the completion of a $10 million pre-seed funding round. Investors include a16z CSX, Hack VC, as well as prominent investors from projects such as Solana, Polygon, Near, and Worldcoin. The funds will be used to develop the world's first open-source Personal Intelligence Network (PIN).

The platform leverages personal contextual data and encryption technology to deploy advanced AI models on devices, handling cross-app tasks such as shopping, ordering food, wealth management, and interactions with centralized exchanges, DeFi, and prediction markets.

The company aims to reclaim over $100 billion in profits from tech giants and return them to users. The technical leadership team at PIN AI includes former Ethereum core researcher Davide Crapis, MIT graduate Ben Wu, Stanford AI/Math PhD Bill Sun, and CMU graduate Regan Peng.

The company will join a16z CSX's 2024 fall cohort in New York City and collaborate with a16z Crypto Research, Flashbots, Espresso Systems, as well as scholars from Stanford, Columbia, and NYU.
