News from TechFlow reveals that a16z Crypto has announced the 21 selected companies for the Fall 2024 Crypto Startup Accelerator (CSX) program today. The selected companies cover various aspects of the crypto technology stack, including AI, DeFi, infrastructure, as well as consumer applications such as photo sharing and mapping. The 21 selected companies include:

1. Anera Labs: Building infrastructure to unify all on-chain liquidity;
2. Banyan: Using AI to bridge communication gaps in the workplace, bringing clarity to enterprises;
3. Blocksense: Supporting the creation of oracles that harness internet data and CPU/GPU computing;
4. Cork Protocol: Risk pricing protocol to accelerate on-chain credit;
5. Dot: Transforming user-created pixel art into in-game elements for blockchain games;
6. Fermah: Building a universal zero-knowledge proof generation layer;
7. Future Primitive: Creating a new home for internet photo enthusiasts;
8. Kuzco: LLM reasoning market;
9. MeshMap: Building a 3D world map and AR content network;
10. Opacity Labs: Privately verifying web2 data through zkTLS;
11. OpenGradient: Building a blockchain aiming to bring world computation onto the chain;
12. PIN AI is building an open personal AI platform (data + agent);

a16z CSX will invest at least $500,000 in each selected company. The program will conduct an 8-week training in New York City, providing the selected companies with firsthand experiences from top crypto founders, guidance and support from the a16z crypto investment and operational team, and networking opportunities with other companies and the broader a16z network.
