Foresight Ventures Co-founder Forest: Hong Kong to Once Again Serve as Global Financial Center and Port in Web3

At the conference "Web3 Connect: Hong Kong and the World" hosted by Cyberport in Hong Kong, Forest Bai, Co-founder of Foresight Ventures and Chairman of The Block, delivered a keynote speech titled "Exploring the Challenges and Opportunities of Establishing a Global Web3 Supply Chain Network in Hong Kong: From the Perspective of Foresight." He mentioned that Web3 is actually more international than traditional industries. Hong Kong, with its traditional status as a global financial center and important port, has a strategic position in Web3 development. It includes support from top global universities, entrepreneurial spaces, strong local funding from businesses, an open and transparent regulatory environment, reliance on talent and supply chain reserves from the mainland, as well as convenient visas and transportation for global practitioners. However, on the other hand, the local foundation of Web3 enterprises is relatively weak, which is an issue that can be addressed through rapid development.
