Tools for Humanity CEO: Worldcoin's focus remains on large-scale distribution of iris scanning devices Orbs

During the group interview of KBW 2024, Alex Blania, the CEO of Tools for Humanity, stated that Worldcoin's current focus is still on the large-scale distribution of iris scanning devices called '$Orbs' to expand the project's scale and enhance its utility. Blania mentioned that similar to Paypal and Facebook, they only become useful when they reach a certain scale. Therefore, our current focus is on global distribution and the number of users who have been verified and are using the service. Additionally, Blania mentioned that Worldcoin will announce updates on the next generation Orb devices in the coming weeks. Worldcoin is also preparing to launch its Layer 2 network, World $Chain, which is a superchain similar to Coinbase's Base on Optimism (The Block).
