DeepChain TechFlow news, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Ethereum futures trading volume hit a 9-month low in August, reflecting a decline in institutional interest in Ethereum-related financial products. According to The Block's data, the total monthly trading volume of CME Ethereum futures in August was 20.80 billion US dollars, a 31% decrease from July's 30.50 billion US dollars, marking a new low since November 2023. CCData's monthly exchange commentary also observed a similar trend. Analysts indicate that this suggests institutional interest in this asset is lower than expected. Additionally, the trading volume of spot Ethereum ETFs managed by companies such as BlackRock and Fidelity in August also decreased compared to July.
