Mysten Labs Co-founder: Sui is testing offline encrypted transaction functionality using radio waves.

Odaily Planet Daily News Mysten Labs co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun stated in an interview with Cointelegraph that research on providing offline encrypted transactions using radio waves has been completed, allowing the $Sui blockchain to transmit transactions using underwater waves and long-distance radio, and even compress transactions into smaller text messages. Abiodun stated that $Sui has tested this method and it has been "effective". The current task is to integrate it into IoT devices, which may also benefit the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) project. $Sui is collaborating with Canadian mobile service provider Chip Wireless to test their ideas and is considering expansion to target markets such as Africa.
