Deep Tide TechFlow News, on September 4th, according to Cointelegraph, Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder of Mysten Labs, revealed that $Sui Blockchain is developing "no-internet transaction" technology, aiming to achieve offline encrypted cryptocurrency transactions through methods such as radio waves. The technology has completed preliminary research and can transmit transaction information through underwater waves, long-distance radio, and even SMS.
$Sui is collaborating with the Canadian company Chip Wireless to test this concept and plans to apply it to Internet of Things devices and the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) project. This technology is not only suitable for payments but can also be used in areas such as coupons, rewards, and data transmission. Abiodun emphasized that this initiative aims to provide low-cost financial services to users without bank accounts and lacking internet access, which could play a crucial role in disaster recovery, network interruptions, or low-connectivity areas, further promoting the application of blockchain in the inclusive finance sector.
