Deep Tide TechFlow News, a16z Games Fund One led by Andrew Chen announced that the fund will invest 30 million US dollars in the next 30 days to support startups in the gaming industry.
a16z will launch a new program in San Francisco in January 2025, co-hosted by Andrew Chen and the a16z SPEEDRUN team, providing speeches, personalized guidance, and funding support for entrepreneurs. The program will provide a $750,000 investment for each selected startup, lasting for 12 weeks from January 6, 2025, to March 21, 2025.
During this period, well-known entrepreneurs including Mark Pincus, co-founder of Zynga, Spencer Rascoff, co-founder of Zillow, and Sean Rad, co-founder of Tinder, will serve as guest speakers and mentors.
The project will conclude with a roadshow day for over 500 angel investors and investors. The application deadline is September 30, 2024, and a16z particularly welcomes brand-new startup projects.
