French President: Did not invite Pavel Durov to France, detention is by no means for political purposes

According to Cointelegraph, French President Emmanuel Macron held a press conference during his diplomatic visit to Serbia, where he told reporters that he had no knowledge of Pavel Durov's visit to France. Macron stated that Durov's case will be handled independently by the French judicial system. Macron insisted that the decision to detain this tech entrepreneur was not politically motivated.
