Time tokenization project Time.fun completes a $3 million seed round financing, led by Brevan Howard Digital.

Deep Tide TechFlow News, the encrypted startup company Time.fun that tokenizes people's time has completed a $3 million seed round of financing, led by Brevan Howard Digital. Other investors include Coinbase Ventures, Breed VC, Zee Prime Capital, and Arthur Hayes' family office Maelstrom.

Time.fun is a platform built on the Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain Base, allowing creators to tokenize time. Users can buy, sell, and exchange this time to engage in private messages or one-on-one calls with creators. Creators earn fees when engaging in time transactions or exchanges.

Since its launch on June 17th, Time.fun has facilitated approximately 570 Ethereum ($ETH) transactions, with creator earnings of around 15 Ethereum (approximately $60,000). Time.fun has also generated approximately $45,000 in revenue from this.

0xKawz pointed out that the difference between Time.fun and similar platforms like Friend.tech is that Time.fun focuses on the tokenization of time and plans to introduce more products based on 'tokenized time' in the future. The company plans to launch its own token in the future, but the specific timing is yet to be determined.

Currently headquartered in Miami, Time.fun's team consists of three people and is looking for an engineer with React Native experience to join.
