According to TechFlow news from Deep Tide, the cryptocurrency exchange Mudrex has won a judgment from the Delhi High Court, requiring the Indian Ministry of Communications to take down 38 websites that fraudulently used the Mudrex name for scams within a week.
Edul Patel, CEO of Mudrex, estimated that the actual number of retail investors deceived could reach 1,000, with losses exceeding $50,000. Scammers impersonated Mudrex employees on Telegram, promising rewards and job opportunities to deceive investors. Amit Rangari, Mudrex's legal director, stated that the company filed a police complaint in Bangalore as early as March 23.
