According to reports from French media cited by Russian news agency, Telegram founder Pavel Durov was transferred to the Paris court by French police on August 28 after being detained in Paris for four days. Two vehicles with police lights transported him at high speed to the Paris Judicial Court secretly. Authorities will decide whether to formally charge him before the end of his detention period. Durov's initial detention period has been extended to a maximum of 96 hours, which will expire at 21:00 Moscow time today (August 28). Before that, if the judge has sufficient evidence, he must be charged, otherwise he will be released.
