TechFlow reports that the tokenization protocol Rumpel Labs announced it will launch on the Ethereum mainnet in mid-September, aiming to convert user points into profits, with support from well-known investment institutions such as Dragonfly and Variant.
Rumpel allows users to package their points into Rumpel Point Tokens, which are verified by the Rumpel Oracle to check off-chain point balances and update minting quotas.
When the project announces an airdrop, Point Tokens can be exchanged for corresponding airdrop shares. The protocol addresses current issues in the points system, such as users' inability to lock in profits before an airdrop.
RumpelLabs plans to launch a public audit competition on August 26, open early access in early September, and go live on the Ethereum mainnet in mid-September.
Rumpel will support the points liquidity of projects such as Ethena Labs, Symbiotic Finance, Zircuit L2, and Karak Network. Users can trade these tokenized points on Uniswap v3 and receive Rumpel's native points Straw as rewards.
