TechFlow News: According to Cointelegraph, the bankruptcy restructuring hearing of the cryptocurrency company Terraform Labs will be held in Beijing on September 19. The hearing will determine whether the company can restructure or be forced to liquidate. Terraform Labs has been in trouble since May 2022 when its stablecoin UST lost its peg to the US dollar. The company filed for bankruptcy protection in January this year. In July, Terraform and its co-founder Do Kwon reached a $4.50 billion settlement agreement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and were banned from participating in the cryptocurrency industry. Currently, the company is seeking to sell core assets such as Pulsar Finance, Station, Enterprise, and Warp to raise funds to fulfill the settlement obligations.
