Nexus Interactive completes $2 million in seed funding, with participation from Animoca Brands, etc.

British web3 game company Nexus Interactive announced the completion of a $2 million seed round of financing, with investors including Animoca Brands, Jump Crypto, Maven Capital, GameFi Ventures, Sky Vision Capital, Avocado Guild, Good Games Guild, and RR2 Capital. Nexus Interactive was founded three years ago and includes internal game development studio Nexus Play, publisher and accelerator Nexus Build, and AI-based UGC program Nexus Share. The company's flagship game, Everdawn Champions (formerly Aradena Battlegrounds), is set to launch in September 2024 as part of a medieval strategy game universe. Nexus has stated that two other games are in development, namely Snap Royale and Kingdoms of Conquest. Additionally, the company plans to release games developed by third-party partner studios. Nexus's ecosystem token, NXI, is set to launch later in 2024.
