Cryptocurrency startup Sorella Labs, dedicated to addressing the Ethereum MEV problem, announced the completion of a $7.50 million seed round led by Paradigm, with participation from Uniswap Ventures, Bankless Ventures, and Robot Ventures. Sorella Labs stated that the seed round was finalized in September last year but was announced today. However, Sorella Labs' co-founder and CEO Ludwig Thouvenin declined to comment on the structure, valuation, or whether any investors hold board seats at Sorella. Thouvenin co-founded Sorella Labs with Karthik Srinivasan in 2022, both of whom are college dropouts. Currently headquartered in Manhattan, Sorella Labs has around 15 employees and is planning to expand its team by hiring MEV researchers, Rust developers, and system engineers. (The Block)
