I agree with @MaxResnick1's point that the hardware requirements for L1 should be 'the latest 2 generations of Macbook Pro,' which aligns perfectly with the social contract of individual stakers. This will increase Ethereum L1's accessibility to over 10 times the users at a low cost. The argument against this is that the Ethereum ecosystem needs to be restructured around less synchronous composability - the growing L1 execution will reduce the urgency to address this issue. A rollup-centric Ethereum is the right roadmap - let's face the challenge."
