Odaily Planet Daily reports that zkMe, a zero-knowledge proof identity verification solution provider, officially announced on platform X the completion of a $4 million seed investment round led by Multicoin Capital, with participation from OKX Ventures and Robot Ventures. This funding will be used to optimize the zkMe zero-knowledge identity protocol, which has been online for 13 months, and to develop the zero-knowledge identity layer infrastructure, aiming to build a more complete zkMe privacy identity layer network, expected to officially launch in Q4 2024.
It is understood that zkMe is committed to providing decentralized compliance services that meet FATF standards through cryptography, offering a comprehensive credential verification solution for the Web3 industry in response to the upcoming EU MiCA regulations. Additionally, zkMe empowers users to control their identity credentials and other rights, allowing them to maximize privacy protection and value creation through participation in verification.
