NYSE Arca has withdrawn its request to list options on commodity trusts and cryptocurrency ETFs, initially proposed in January. This move is part of a broader regulatory trend concerning crypto funds. The proposal aimed to allow trading of options on commodity-based trusts, including crypto ETFs like Grayscale Bitcoin Trust. However, following feedback, possibly from the SEC, and amid other similar regulatory activities, NYSE Arca decided to retract the proposal. Other exchanges like Cboe and Nasdaq have also been active in seeking approvals for similar listings.
