Zero-Knowledge Proof Infrastructure Company Succinct Launches SP1 1.0 Version

According to official sources, the zero-knowledge proof infrastructure company Succinct has announced the release of SP1 1.0 version, which is the production-ready version of its zkVM. SP1 is now fully functional and recommended for production use. This version will "enable developers to write real-world ZKPs in Rust and generate proofs in real-time at low cost," the team stated. Uma Roy is the co-founder and CEO of the platform. It offers up to a 10x performance improvement in terms of latency/cost, has over $1 billion TVL, and has provided thousands of proofs. Succinct has proven over 100 billion CPU cycles on the prover network's private test version and is trusted by Polygon and Celestia. Additionally, SP1 is 100% open-source, allowing teams like Argument (formerly known as Lurk Labs) and Scroll to implement custom precompiles for their own use cases, "significantly reducing cycle counts and speeding up proof generation time." In previous news from March, the zero-knowledge proof infrastructure company Succinct completed a total of $55 million in funding (including seed and Series A rounds), led by Paradigm. Robot Ventures, Bankless Ventures, Geometry, ZK Validator, and several angel investors also participated.
