Bitcoin mining company Bitfarms reported a 34% month-on-month increase in earnings due to increased mining hashrate following fleet upgrades and expansion. In July, Bitfarms generated 253 $BTC, worth about $16.2 million, compared to 189 $BTC in June. The company's operational hashrate reached 11.1 exahashes, showing significant growth both year-on-year and month-on-month. CEO Ben Gagnon highlighted that since the Bitcoin halving in April, earnings were initially down but have since improved, with a 62% increase in Bitcoin earnings per month post-halving. Bitfarms plans to further expand its mining capacity, aiming to triple its hashrate with a $240 million investment in new miners. Additionally, the company's largest site in Paraguay is now fully operational, and construction in Yguazu is progressing.
