Pudgy Penguins' parent company's crypto consumer app Abstract has launched its testnet.

Odaily Planet Daily News: The encrypted consumer application Abstract announced that its testnet has been launched, supported by ZK Stack, running as an L2 on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet. Developers can utilize this testnet to test applications and ensure smooth operation before the Abstract mainnet goes live later this year. In previous news, Igloo, Inc., the parent company of Pudgy Penguins, announced the completion of over $11 million in funding, led by Founders Fund, with participation from Distributed Capital, 1kx, Everest Ventures Group, and Selini Capital. Igloo plans to invest this strategic funding into developing its new business, Cube Labs, which will oversee and contribute to the development of Abstract. Abstract is a new consumer-focused blockchain aiming to drive mainstream adoption, incubated by the non-profit organization Abstract Foundation, enabling billions of people to go on-chain for the first time. Its testnet will be launched soon.
