Odaily Planet Daily News: Web3 gaming organization Oh Gamers announced a strategic investment of one million US dollars in the Web3 MMORPG game Space Nation. Unlike conventional token investments, this investment is primarily focused on game assets and ecosystem development. Space Nation is a Web3 space opera-themed MMORPG truly crafted by experienced gaming industry professionals, aiming to build a complex and sustainable game economy on the Web3 orbit. The project's key creators include Jerome Wu, a well-known project manager from Blizzard's MMORPG 'World of Warcraft,' and Hollywood director Roland Emmerich. Oh Gamers CEO Roy Ding stated, 'We believe that the emergence of Space Nation will mark a phenomenal revolution in Web3 gaming. Players willing to pay for premium game content and emotional value are already emerging. Oh Gamers will provide comprehensive support for Space Nation through token investments and game asset allocation in upcoming product matrices such as GamerID, OhGamers Market, and TapDap. It is expected to bring over 100,000 real gamers to Space Nation in the third and fourth quarters of 2024. Oh Gamers, adhering to a player-centric approach and the concept of selecting good games for players, aims to be the bridge for traditional gamers to enter Web3 gaming and, together with players, redefine the new role of Web3 gamers.' Previously, Oh Gamers received a total of $3 million in seed funding from Axia8 Ventures and several angel investors.
