A KEB Hana Bank employee in South Korea was arrested and prosecuted for embezzling 18 billion Korean won, of which 15 billion Korean won was used to purchase virtual assets. The employee forged loan documents for 17 clients from July to May last year, embezzling a total of 17.77 billion Korean won through fraudulent loans. Prosecutors seized 180 million Korean won at the employee's residence and froze assets totaling around 4.50 billion Korean won, including virtual assets.
