Consensys acquires Wallet Guard to enhance MetaMask security

Consensys announced the acquisition of $Wallet Guard to enhance the security of MetaMask. The acquisition aims to integrate $Wallet Guard's security features into MetaMask, improving the protection of Web3 users. $Wallet Guard focuses on transaction verification and client-side heuristic technology. Through this integration, MetaMask users will benefit from enhanced security capabilities such as fraud and theft detection. Previously, Consensys also faced the latest lawsuit from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which accuses Consensys of operating as an unregistered broker and charging fees exceeding 250 million dollars.
