Investcorp, a management investment company, has partnered with digital asset securities firm Securitize to launch tokenized funds using blockchain technology. This initiative will begin within Investcorp's Strategic Capital Group (ISCG), which was established in 2019 and manages $1.5 billion in assets, focusing on acquiring minority stakes in alternative asset management firms. The collaboration aims to enhance investment efficiency and open new investment opportunities previously inaccessible to individual investors. Investcorp has been actively involved in the crypto sector, having hired Herve Francois in 2022 to build its first blockchain fund and leading several funding rounds in crypto companies.

<p>According to a report by Coindesk, the investment management company Investcorp and the digital asset securities company Securitize have announced a partnership to tokenize funds through blockchain technology. The collaboration will first develop tokenized funds within Investcorp's Strategic Capital Group (ISCG). <p>Investcorp has been actively involved in the crypto space in recent years, having hired former ING Head of Digital Assets Herve Francois in 2022 to build its first blockchain fund and leading or participating in funding rounds of crypto companies multiple times.</p>
