Digital asset manager 3iQ has filed for a Solana ($SOL) exchange-traded product (ETP) listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) in Canada. The proposed ETP, named QSOL, aims to provide investors with exposure to the digital currency $SOL and its daily price movements in U.S. dollars. Additionally, QSOL seeks to offer shareholders staking yields accrued from the Solana network, with current yields ranging between 6-8%. The filing was made across all Canadian provinces and territories except Quebec. If approved, QSOL would be the first Solana ETP listed in North America. Coinbase Custody and Tetra Trust are designated as custodians, with Coinbase Custody also providing the necessary infrastructure for institutional Solana staking.
