German telecommunications company T-Mobile has announced plans to start developing Bitcoin mining operations to expand its ongoing crypto activities. Dirk Röder, the company's Head of Web3 Infrastructure and Solutions, stated at the BTC Prague conference that since 2023, the company has been running Bitcoin nodes and Bitcoin Lightning nodes, with plans to soon commence digital currency mining activities.
