Venture capital firm CMT Digital is raising a $150 million fund for its fourth fund, primarily for Web3 investments. This will be the company's largest fund to date. Investment partner Sam Hallene stated that the fund will focus on projects with long-term potential, such as decentralized physical infrastructure, citing the Helium network on the Solana blockchain as an example. Additionally, the company has shown interest in stablecoins. Former BlockTower Capital and Pantera Capital executive Gerald Brant will oversee this fundraising and has joined CMT as the Head of Capital Growth.
