Bitcoin L2 project Zulu Network announced that its ZuluPrime testnet Beta version has officially launched. This version includes smart contract upgrades, support for multiple token payment transaction fees, and overall optimization of performance and interface. In addition, Zulu Network has completed the simulation implementation of ZKP on Bitcoin using the Bitcoin Script language and has contributed code to the official repository of BitVM2. The team plans to upgrade the project to a true Bitcoin L2 in the future to inherit the security of the Bitcoin network.

The core updates of the L2 ZuluPrime testnet Beta version include: 1. Smart contract upgrade for Zulu Bridge; 2. Support for multiple tokens, currently BTC and Zulu, for transaction fees on the Zulu chain; 3. Overall performance and interface optimizations. The Beta's marketing event Lwazi is scheduled to start on June 8th. Zulu Network has become the first in the industry to simulate ZKP on Bitcoin using Bitcoin Script language and has contributed code to the BitVM2 official repository for the benefit of more projects.
