Bitcoin early investor Roger Ver was granted bail in Spain after paying a bail of 150 thousand euros and is awaiting a decision on his extradition to the United States. Ver faces a 50 million dollar tax evasion charge and is required to report to court every two days. Previously, Ver was accused of email fraud, tax evasion, and filing false tax returns, leading to his arrest in Spain. The U.S. will seek Ver's extradition to face trial in the United States. Ver renounced his U.S. citizenship in 2014, with the Justice Department estimating that he caused at least 48 million dollars in losses to the Internal Revenue Service.
