According to an internal email obtained by The Block, crypto payment infrastructure company MoonPay has laid off 10% of its staff. MoonPay co-founder and CEO Ivan Soto-Wright stated that while the company is cash flow positive, its cost structure is too high. The email did not specify the number of affected employees, but according to LinkedIn records, MoonPay currently has around 300 employees, so 10% would be approximately 30 people. A MoonPay spokesperson declined to disclose the exact number but confirmed the email's content.
