The STARGATE community has initiated a vote on the potential distribution of LAYERZERO tokens through an RFP proposal, suggesting a 60% allocation of tokens to cross-chain participants. The proposal also includes allocating 20% of the tokens to VESTG holders, 10% to liquidity providers (LPs), and 10% to developers based on LAYERZERO's recommendations. The voting will conclude on May 29th, and if the proposal is approved and endorsed by the LAYERZERO Foundation, the STARGATE Foundation will provide a list of eligible addresses while excluding those marked as witches.

Odaily Planet Daily News reported that the Snapshot page shows that the Stargate community initiated a vote on the "Stargate Foundation RFP Proposal" regarding potential LayerZero token distribution, with the voting scheduled to end on May 29.
The proposal suggests allocating potential LayerZero token rewards from Stargate DAO to cross-chain users, liquidity providers, and STG stakers. It proposes distributing 60% of the tokens to cross-chain users (42% based on bridging weighted trading volume to cross-chain users, 18% reserved for partner agreements in the nested RFP process), 20% to veSTG holders, 10% to LP providers, and 10% to developers based on the LayerZero proposal.
If this RFP is voted through and approved by the LayerZero Foundation, the Stargate Foundation will provide a list of addresses that meet the requirements of this RFP. Addresses marked as witches by LayerZero will be removed from the list, and their allocation will be distributed among the remaining eligible wallets.
