The network connects advertisers, publishers, and ATTRIBUTION PROVIDERs that track customer sources, where "publishers" refer to crypto wallet providers that have news feeds and "discovery" tabs, similar to social applications. The delivery of advertising content is still done off-chain, but advertisers transfer funds to smart contracts, which will only release funds to publishers when ATTRIBUTION PROVIDER verifies that the advertisement has led to sales by reviewing on-chain data.
