HACK VC, the WEB3 venture capital firm that led ECLIPSE's Series A round, expressed deep concern about the sexual harassment allegations against ECLIPSE founder Neel Somani and announced zero tolerance for sexual harassment or misconduct. After learning of the allegations, HACK VC worked with other investors to urge Somani to resign while fully supporting Vijay Chetty as the new CEO. ECLIPSE Labs announced in March this year that it had completed a $50 million Series A round of financing, led by HACK VC and Placeholder. Somani announced his "temporary withdrawal" due to sexual harassment allegations and insisted in a post that he was innocent.
