Celo Foundation and Partners Announce Grant Recipients for NFT Marketplace Initiative

The $Celo Foundation, in partnership with RaribleX, launched the CeloSphere NFT marketplace and announced the first-ever $Celo Creators Fund, offering $150,000 in $USDC grants to incentivize artists and creators to develop impactful NFT collections. The application period saw 255 creators from six continents apply, with a curatorial board selecting 10 artists to receive grants for their proposed collections. Additionally, four community partners allocated five fast-tracked $USDC grants each to members of their communities, totaling 30 selected creators. These creators will develop collections to be featured on CeloSphere, with the initiative emphasizing support beyond financial incentives, including artist aftercare through exhibitions and workshops. $Celo is a mobile-first blockchain network designed for fast, low-cost payments worldwide, supporting a rich ecosystem of projects aimed at global prosperity.
