The results of the SOLANA RENAISSANCE hackathon are out, with over 8,300 participants forming teams to submit 1,071 final projects to the judges. Builders came from 95 countries/regions, covering tracks such as infrastructure, gaming, DEPIN, DAO, DEFI, and long-tail consumer applications. The Grand Champion of this hackathon and the winner of the 50,000 $USDC prize is the mining project ORE, which will participate in the BREAKPOINT 2024 conference held in Singapore from September 19 to 21. Details of other winning projects are as follows: The first place in the consumer application track is BANGER, a marketplace for trading X posts and supporting creators; the first place in the crypto infrastructure track is 0XHIGHTPS, which uses efficient scheduling and optimization to improve transaction capacity and block reward yields; the first place in the gaming track is MANEKO, a mobile game in the style of electronic pets; the first place in the DEFI & Payments track is URANI, an intent-based SWAP aggregator that introduces MEV protection; the first place in the DEPIN track is BLOCKMESH, an open network that allows users to monetize excess bandwidth; the first place in the DAO & Community track is DETASK, an AI product development platform utilizing DAO labor. Each of the above winning projects will receive a prize of 30,000 USDC.
