COLOSSEUM announced the winning projects of the SOLANA RENAISSANCE hackathon, with the ORE project taking the grand prize. This hackathon attracted over 8,300 participants from 95 countries, submitting 1,071 projects across various fields including infrastructure, gaming, DEPIN, DEFI, and consumer applications. The winning projects included the crypto-supported browser WOOTZ BROWSER, the gamified social consensus platform CHOMP, and the trading application MOVEMENT. In the crypto infrastructure category, HIGH TPS SOLANA CLIENT won first place, with other winners including the on-chain protocol TORQUE and the developer platform XCROW. The gaming track winners included MESHMAP+CITY CHAMP and LEGENDS OF THE SUN. DEFI and payment track winners included URANI and GLAM. DEPIN field winners included BLOCKMESH and DECHARGE. Additionally, the university award went to DEVOLT, the public goods award to ZIRCON, and the climate award to AQUASAVE.
