WORLDCOIN's main supporters, Sam Altman and Alex Blania, recently held talks with Malaysian leaders in an effort to improve relations with the government and demonstrate their commitment to user data and privacy. WORLDCOIN is an iris scanning project developed by Tools of Humanity, which has faced temporary bans in Spain and Portugal due to privacy concerns surrounding the creation of individual World IDs through eye scanning. The project has implemented measures to address these concerns, including allowing users to permanently delete iris data, and has appointed former US Ambassador to Austria, Trevor Traina, as the Head of Global Affairs to strengthen relations with governments. Currently, over 5 million World IDs have been allocated.
