Bitcoin L2 developer ALPEN LABS has completed a $10.6 million seed round of financing, led by RIBBIT CAPITAL, with participation from CASTLE ISLAND VENTURES, ROBOT VENTURES, and AXIOM CAPITAL, among others. ALPEN LABS is dedicated to expanding the Bitcoin blockchain through zero-knowledge proof technology and made significant progress last year in developing the Bitcoin ROLLUP infrastructure to introduce smart contract functionality.
