Celo Foundation and Rarible Launch Celosphere NFT Marketplace

The $Celo Foundation and Rarible have launched Celosphere, a new NFT marketplace designed to support art, community, and impact. Celosphere, powered by RaribleX, is now live on the $Celo blockchain, aiming to onboard global creators. Alongside, the $Celo Foundation has introduced the $Celo Creators Fund, offering 150,000 Celo-native USDC to support creators, with inaugural community partners including Refraction, Boys Club, Rug Radio, and HUG. The open call for creators to join Celosphere will close on April 24, 2024. Celosphere offers a platform for creators to buy, sell, and trade digital collectibles, emphasizing accessible onboarding and seamless user experiences. It also highlights $Celo's carbon-negative design and UltraGreen Money tokenomics, driving climate action with every transaction. Initial NFT projects on Celosphere include Steward, Ecosapiens, and Plastiks, with Maya Spirits as an inaugural creator. The $Celo Creators Fund's curatorial board features a diverse range of Web3 leaders, and submissions will close on April 24th, 2024.
