Encryption compliance platform KEYRING announced the completion of a $6 million financing round, led by GUMI CRYPTOS CAPITAL and GREENFIELD CAPITAL, with participation from MOTIER VENTURES, KIMA VENTURES, and others. KEYRING aims to help financial institutions and investors interact with DEFI platforms in a compliant manner and restrict counterparties' addresses using zero-knowledge (ZK) proof technology, thereby protecting privacy and sensitive data. The company recently facilitated a proof-of-concept trial with LASER DIGITAL, the cryptocurrency division of Japanese banking giant NOMURA, by building a compliance wrapper on the stablecoin USDC.
